Deva Dancing uses movement; an invitation to honor and express the internal experience; and awareness to open ourselves to the richness of the present moment. In Deva Dancing, there are no steps to learn. There are no rules for how you are supposed to look. There will be music, guidance, invitations, practices, and the permission to welcome the truth of your heart ever more fully. The four main streams that Arlyn weaves together through Deva Dancing are that of ecstatic dance, group work, satsang and creative art.

Nia blends the power and mindfulness of martial arts (tai chi, tae kwon do, and aikido), the joy and grace of dance arts (jazz, Duncan, and modern) and the awareness and alignment of healing arts (yoga, Feldenkrais and the Alexander technique) into a self-expressive movement form that emphasizes "the body's way."
