Directions to the Heidemans. Coming from Paonia on the main highway, as you start down the hill going into Hotchkiss, there is a road on the right. It is 3500 Road (there is a neighborhood watch sign there). Turn right and follow the road for about 1 mile until it ends at a blacktop road ( Hanson Mesa Road ). The Heidemans house (11126 3500 Road) is the one on the right. There is a plastic covered greenhouse next to the road. Backup and park. Walk past the house and you will see a metal gate into the orchard. Go thru that gate past the trees and past another greenhouse. You will see the dome off to the left. Coming from the Delta direction, go thru Hotchkiss toward Paonia. Go over the railroad tracks and start up the hill. Turn left on 3500 Road which is the first turn available going up the hill. Follow the rest of the directions above. |
